This Commercial Licence explains what you may and may not do with SUBLIM8 digital designs. It applies together with the Terms & Conditions and any product-specific licence shown on a listing.
01 Licence Grant
When you lawfully purchase or download a SUBLIM8 product that includes commercial-use rights, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use that product in accordance with this Commercial Licence.
You are purchasing permission to use the digital design. Copyright and ownership of the original digital artwork are not transferred to you.
02 Personal Use
You may use licensed designs for your own personal projects, gifts and other non-commercial finished products.
03 Commercial Use
Unless a product listing states otherwise, you may use a licensed design to create physical finished products for sale, including sublimated or printed items such as mugs, tumblers, garments, coasters and similar finished goods.
The design must form part of a finished physical product. Your customer must not receive the original digital design file as part of that sale.
04 Digital Products & Print-on-Demand
You may not resell, redistribute or provide the original SUBLIM8 digital file, whether unchanged or modified.
You may not turn a SUBLIM8 design into another downloadable digital product, design bundle, clip-art pack, SVG/PNG collection, template or other digital file for resale or sharing unless the specific product licence expressly permits it.
Use with print-on-demand or fulfilment services is permitted only where the service is producing finished physical products on your behalf and does not obtain independent rights to sell, distribute or reuse the artwork.
05 Modifications
You may make reasonable modifications needed for your finished product, such as resizing, adding text, combining elements or adjusting colour.
Modifying a design does not make the underlying SUBLIM8 artwork yours and does not remove the restrictions on redistribution of the digital file.
06 What You Cannot Do
You must not share, gift, sublicense, upload, sell or redistribute the original digital file or a substantially similar extract of it.
You must not upload the design to file-sharing sites, shared drives, design libraries, marketplaces or memberships where another person can access the digital artwork.
You must not claim the original artwork as your own, register it as your copyright or trade mark, or use it to create a competing digital-design library.
07 Your Customers
You may sell finished physical products created under this licence to your customers. Your customers receive the physical product only and do not receive a licence to extract, copy or redistribute the underlying SUBLIM8 artwork.
08 Subscription Downloads
Designs lawfully downloaded while your Creator or Pro subscription is active remain subject to this Commercial Licence after the subscription ends, unless a particular listing states a different licence.
Ending a subscription does not permit continued access to subscription-only downloads that were not downloaded while the subscription was active.
09 Third-Party Content
A product may occasionally contain or require third-party elements such as fonts or other resources. Where separate third-party licence terms apply, those terms will be identified where reasonably necessary and must also be followed.
10 Licence Termination
This licence may terminate for a particular product if you materially breach its terms, including by redistributing the digital file. Rights that cannot lawfully be withdrawn remain unaffected.
If a breach can reasonably be corrected, SUBLIM8 may allow an opportunity to remedy it before taking further action.
11 Licence Questions
If you are unsure whether a planned use is permitted, contact support@sublim8.com before using the design. We would rather clarify a use than leave you guessing.
